Mykowiki: the Modern Mushroom Wiki

Mykowiki is the brainchild of one, semi-young amateur mycologist. A great love of all things mushroom and unending desire to create useful websites for everybody became the driving force. Mykowiki is still a young resource, but aiming to the senses of all mycologists around the globe. Based on MediaWiki (http://www.mediawiki.org/) (the same framework as Wikipedia (http://www.wikipedia.org/)), Mykowiki is a user-editable collection of fungi and other mycological information. I hope you enjoy the new website and desire to become one of newest contributors. We look to draw knowledge from both experts and amateurs alike.

Mykowiki has just recently begun. At launch only two mushrooms have pages. Take a look at Boletus edulis and Hygrocybe coccinea to see a typical mushroom page. And browse around the rest of the site to get a feel for how we are arranged.
